A few months ago, users noticed a strange bug where the taskbar was “broken” from the bottom of the screen and “floating” with rounded corners. Microsoft quickly confirmed that what appeared to be a redesigned taskbar was just an unfortunate bug. With all this, it seems, what else is is We hope to get Windows 11 with floating taskbar.
During its annual Ignite conference, Microsoft showed off a weird (some would even say cursed) screenshot of Windows 11 with a radical redesign of the shell. The taskbar again “floats” with rounded corners and all indicators in the notification area are visible inside top not in the lower right corner of the screen. You can also notice the search bar and weather widget at the top, leaving a ton of black space to the left and right of the taskbar.
It’s hard to say why Microsoft created such a strange UI. IT It could be a fragment of future changes or just one of many UI prototypes circulating in Microsoft’s labs. With all that said, it’s hard to imagine Microsoft making such radical changes to its user interface, especially given how much criticism it has received after the release of Windows 11, with the broken taskbar and redesigned Start menu. Converting Windows 11 to an Ubuntu-like clone could cause even more outrage among the audience.
