Microsoft continues to integrate other companies’ services within Windows. The software giant has announced that it will release official Apple Music and Apple TV apps for Windows 10 and 11, which will appear in the Microsoft Store next year. Also, Apple Music is already available on Xbox consoles.
It should be noted that “native” Apple Music and Apple TV programs for Windows are not available so far. To watch videos and listen to music, you had to use a browser and go to the relevant sites. The alternative was the poorly adapted iTunes program for Windows.
In addition, the “Photos” app for Windows 11 will add support for the iCloud cloud service, which will allow you to sync photos from an Apple smartphone or tablet. This currently works via a browser or the iCloud for Windows app. That’s why Cupertino clearly wants to expand its presence outside of its ecosystem, and for that, branded services need to be ubiquitous.
