Studio Mojang has released the first gameplay of the strategy game Minecraft Legends. This has been reported by the PC Gamer post. The video premiered at the thematic Minecraft Live event.

In a new video, the developers showed how the game gathers resources, creates teams of gangs and carries out attacks. As an example of an attack, an episode was shown in which four players act as inhabitants of the Overworld and fight against a piglin invasion (representatives of the “hell” biomes in the Minecraft universe).

The game will be released in the spring of 2023. The project is expected to be released on all available platforms, and Xbox and PC owners are likely to be the first to experience the game.

Minecraft Legends is a third-person sandbox with elements of strategy where players must fend off a Netherworlders attack. The new project will feature a co-op mode with support for up to four players.
