Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra design confirmed

The case makers have done their thing again, this time giving us a look at the final design of the Galaxy S23 family, which, as most of our readers know, will consist of the standard model, the “Plus” model. and the “Ultra” model. Letter will keep the legacy of the Galaxy Note series aliveand will retain the more angular surface that already distinguished the Galaxy S22 Ultra from other models.

The cover image leaves no room for doubt, the most important change that Samsung will introduce to the Galaxy S23 series will be removal of the island where the rear cameras were integrated, and that it appeared distinguished by a color different from that of the terminal chassis. This will make the surface cleaner and more uniform, and the lines in general much more attractive and minimalistic.

The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will have the configuration three rear cameras following this approach that we said in the previous paragraph, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a total four rear cameras (the fifth circle would be dedicated to the laser autofocus system). In the filtered image, we can also see the line that these three terminals will have, and the changes from the current generation will be minimal in this regard.

They will keep both the standard model and the “Plus” model rounded corners and the classic series of the Galaxy S family, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra will once again use it more angular design with pointed corners, typical of the Galaxy Note series. In short, apart from the removal of the islands, we don’t see any major changes in the first two models.

Major players in the smartphone sector have become accustomed to repeating patterns for several years, so deep down it doesn’t surprise us. Without going further, Apple recently launched the iPhone 14 and this is practically a carbon copy of the iPhone 13, and the only interesting innovation that the apple company introduced in its new generation smartphones is the removal of the front notch in the “Pro” and “Pro Max” models.

Coming back to Samsung, looking at the results of the South Korean company, we may not see any major design change. see you in a few more generationsBut at the very least, there is also the possibility that the giant will keep the current designs for longer and only gradually introduce small improvements, all with the aim of gradually improving its Galaxy S line.

If all goes according to plan, the Galaxy S23 will be unveiled between January and February 2023, and its arrival on the market will take place shortly after. It is not clear to us which SoC Samsung plans to use for the European editions of this new generation of smartphones, but for now bet on the Exynos series.
