Brazilian studio BetaGames Group has released a trailer for criminal action 171 in honor of the release of the project’s alpha version in early access on PC via the Steam service. The video was posted on YouTube.

Similar to the Grand Theft Auto series, the public test of the game is scheduled for November 17, 2022. According to the information on the game’s Steam page, 171 players will have access to a large Brazilian city.

According to the authors, in the project it will be possible to interact with other residents, and every action can provoke a reaction from the police or local bandits. The trailer shows, among other things, gunfights, dialogues, switching between day and night, as well as buying clothes for the character and customizing the cars. In this regard, many called the game “GTA in Brazil”.

The authors assure that the project will also be released on all game consoles of the current generation in the future. In the comments to the video, some users criticized the project. According to them, 171 is actually a modified version of GTA IV with many mods by Rockstar Games. They noted that the explosions, some character movements and part of the interface look similar in the game from the Brazilian studio and in GTA IV.
