Having become one of the main competitors of the Apple Watch Ultra, Amazfit announced this week the launch of the Amazfit Falcon.. The smart watch has a titanium coating and a battery that promises up to 14 days of battery life for tech lovers.

The TC4 aircraft grade titanium finish was introduced to keep up with the everyday life of athletes. The watch has passed 15 military-grade tests and received MIL-STD 810G certification. Among the features – water resistance of 20 ATM, which allows you to dive to a depth of 200 meters.

The screen has a sapphire crystal with a Mohs scale responsible for certifying the hardness of minerals, with a rating of 9/10. This means that the screen has a resistance just below the diamond. All of these equipments have the Zepp OS operating system, which emphasizes health and exercise functions. This system offers Zepp Coach, an artificial intelligence that offers personalized recommendations to users. The goal is to offer help and guidance in learning and getting fit.

Amazfit Falcon, conceived as equipment for great athletes, is equipped with six GPS positioning systems. The device guarantees real-time tracking and shows the shortest straight line back to the starting part of the journey when there is a rush to get back.

Monitoring, modes and price

Since it is a smart watch, it has already traditional functions that monitor health and fitness. Available features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, sleep tracking, and stress measurement.

However, one of the great highlights is the ability to choose between 150 different indoor and outdoor sports modes. In addition, it has automatic recognition of eight of them, as is the case with swimming in the pool.

All this comes with a 500 mAh battery. In the Amazfit announcement, they guarantee that the smartwatch can be used for up to two weeks. A full charge takes two hours via the included five-pin plug.

To use the device, users must present a mobile device with Android version 7.0 or higher, in the case of devices with this operating system, or iOS 12. Amazfit Falcon supports 2.4 GHz WLAN and Bluetooth 5.0.

The investment in the new Amazfit Falcon is quite high. In the United States and France, it reached US$500. The cost corresponds to approximately 2.6 thousand reais at the current price. Unfortunately, there are no forecasts for his arrival in Brazil.

It is also worth noting that Amazfit has become one of the best cost-effective companies when it comes to Android smartwatches, with good models and competitive prices, at least on most models.
