Reddit user darklinkuk shared a story about how he tricked a neighbor into connecting to his Wi-Fi network. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, she had to relocate to a less prosperous area. Most of the neighbors turned out to be terrible, the police regularly came to their house, the parcels disappeared at the door, etc.
At one point, while watching new series, he noticed that there were new streaming devices on the list connected to his Wi-Fi.
I’m logged into my router and holy crap 5 unknown devices are connected to my password protected wifi. I have no idea how they got in unless they heard me telling guests the password. darklinkuk
In such a case, you can simply disconnect the devices and change the password, but darklinkuk did something different.
I started streaming the weirdest porn I could find on all devices, maxing out the volume. Eventually Dave (neighbor’s name) must have figured it out and all devices were disconnected from the network. darklinkuk
After that darklinkuk changed the password and network name so as not to drop the soap. Source
