At a press conference held in the city of Gramado-RS on Tuesday morning (18), ASUS confirmed the arrival of the Zenfone 9 smartphone in Brazil. Commerce in November.

The version that will be sold in Brazil has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The recommended price is 3999 reais. The exact release date has not been confirmed by ASUS. Meet the new ASUS Zenfone 9 smartphone

ASUS Zenfone 9 is coming to market with a powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and will be available in 8GB and 16GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage versions. Other details include a 4300 mAh battery and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

With a 5.9-inch AMOLED display, FullHD+ resolution (2400×1080 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, the fingerprint sensor has moved from the previous version: it is no longer under the screen, but on the side button.

On the back side there are two cameras: the main, with a resolution of 50 megapixels, and an additional, ultra-wide, with a resolution of 12 megapixels. The front camera has a similar set: a resolution of 12 megapixels.

The operating system is Android 12, and ASUS guarantees at least two updates. The device will be available in Midnight Black, Starry Blue, Sunset Red and Moonlight White.

It’s worth recalling that in Europe the phone was announced in 8GB and 16GB RAM versions, in addition to variants with up to 256GB storage. However, ASUS did not mention if these more reliable versions will be released here.
