We start talking about its interior and point out the weak point of the second generation Apple TV 4K, which without a doubt is experiencing a big improvement in this new version. And that’s because the model introduced last year was based on the Apple A12 Bionic SoC, the chip that Apple uses in the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, launched on September 12, 2018. Of course, and this is a very, very important point, there is only one model with each of the two capacities, and that is not the only difference between them. Moreover, at least in my opinion, it is not even the most important thing.

I understand that in order to upgrade components while lowering prices, Apple had to cut back a little here and there, and removing the gigabit ethernet port was one option. However, in my opinion, the price difference between the two models clearly points to 128 gigabytes and ethernet as the best option.

To the list of image quality technologies with which it is compatible, in which Dolby Vision was already present in its predecessor, now we also find HDR10+while in the sound part they repeat Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 7.1 or Dolby Digital 5.1.
