It seems even robots have joined KPOP. Dancing to the sounds”permission to dance“, there are several dancing robots in the video. Made to announce that the group is heading to South Korea, Busan, the video is played with the title of the song, giving “permission” for the robots to dance.
And even in the video there is a surprise: in a few moments, the newest Atlas robot appears dancing. Now, in addition to parkour, the atlas also dances.
Boston Dynamics is doing a good job of not dealing with armed robots. As we’ve posted here on Connected World, the company promises not to turn its robots into dogs of war. By focusing on working on utilitarian models such as exploring caves and simplifying product organization with the Stretch arm, Boston Dynamics aims to make life easier for robot owners.
The company releases dancing robots not for the first time, there have already been several such ones. Last October, roller robots performed to the tune of “Turn me on”, from the English group Rolling Stones, make a video where the band is playing on the left and the robots are dancing on the right.
We also had Atlas and Spot robots dancing to “Do you love me?” American group Counterswhere the company once again reveals its technological achievements in a humorous tone.
Will there be dancing and armed robots in the near future? While robots are built to facilitate human functions, we have robots used in military exercises. Exactly 5 days ago, a drone was released with a robot dog with a light machine gun.
