Lenovo was the first major manufacturer to market a laptop/tablet hybrid with a foldable OLED display. But now the company has demonstrated new solutions that can become the basis of promising laptops and smartphones in the future.
One of them was a new version of the laptop with bendable screen and physical keyboard. It can be extended vertically, providing more working space for the user. Luca Rossi, Lenovo’s Executive Vice President, briefly talked about the new product, but did not provide details.
All that is known about the new laptop is that this technology will expand its functionality and “take multitasking, working with files and applications to a new level”. It is not yet clear when a ready-made solution of this class will appear and whether it will be released.
Also, the company showed off a smartphone concept equipped with a foldable screen. It was jointly created by Lenovo and Motorola. And earlier, Lenovo has already updated its futuristic laptop with the flexible-screen ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2.
