WhatsApp communities can be difficult for other messengers like Telegram. The structure of the innovation is similar to the communities on Facebook and all features will receive end-to-end encryption.

Messenger communities also allow organizations, clubs or schools to create groups for their members to share news and updates. Groups support the possibility of creating subgroups – for example, individual participants in a particular project of the organization are needed.

• In communities, users will also be able to see the phone numbers of those who join them in subgroups or when they communicate with each other.
• WhatsApp says it will not allow users to search or explore communities. To join a group, the user should be invited to this.
• Admins can associate an existing group chat with a new feature or create a new group from scratch to get started with the community. More importantly, only admins will have the right to share messages with all members of the community.
• Participants will only be able to communicate in small groups created or approved by administrators. Communities will be able to make voice calls up to 32 people.

Also, pre-sent messages in communities can only be sent to one group at a time instead of the five available groups. Admins will be able to remove false or problematic messages and media from each user’s chat. They can also share files up to 2GB in size.
