A year and a half later, Apple introduces its new iPad, iPad M2 Pro. The announcement was made today (18) in a press release. The company calls its new product “the perfect combination of portability, versatility and performance.” One of the novelties of the new ipad this is your feature Apple silicon M2. debuting in McBock Air in 2022 and Macbook Prothis update brings the same performance to Apple’s professional line of tablets.

In addition to improved performance with the M2, iPad Pro now detects when the Apple Pencil is on screen, allowing the user interface to expand as the pen approaches the display. The new models are available in two sizes: 11 inches (LCD) and 12.9 inches (miniLED). The M2 chip features an 8-core CPU (up to 15% faster than M1) and a 10-core GPU for up to 35% performance improvement. Combining CPU and GPU, the 16-core Neural Engine can handle 15.8T operations per second (40% more than the m1), making iPad Pro is even more powerful.

The price is not so affordable

Demonstrating a big leap over its predecessor, the new models will hit the market with a hefty price tag. iPad Pro The 11-inch model starts at $799 (4,234.07 reais without taxes), while the 12.9-inch model starts at 1099.00 US dollars (5824.07 reais without taxes). Models vary: 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB. They’re available for pre-sale on Apple’s website now, and will ship to other stores on Wednesday (26).

Considering the price of its predecessor, there are models up to R$14,329.62 in Brazil, we can expect a very high price at the start of its launch.
