Google introduced a new version of Android 13 called Go Edition. According to 9to5Google, this lightweight version is designed specifically for budget smartphones.
It is stated that the release of the new version of the mobile operating system took place about two months after the release of the main Android 13.
According to journalists, in Android 13 Go, unlike previous light versions, it was possible to preserve the interface of the “old” operating system. The simplified version also implements Material You, which you design with dynamic colors.
Themes on the lock screen and the quick settings menu have also remained practically unchanged, largely in line with the capabilities of Google’s Pixel smartphones.
Android 13 Go adds support for Google Play system updates, which makes it much easier to install Android updates and apps on your smartphone.
