Apple lowered the prices of refurbished units of some older models iPad In addition to rolling out updates for the iPad Pro and iPad series, the company has also reduced the prices of refurbished devices for some other product lines that haven’t seen the update.

Specifically, Apple has slashed the prices of updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, giving customers additional savings ahead of next month’s upgrades. From April until earlier this week, the refurbished ‌M1 Pro‌ and ‌M1 Max‌ MacBook Pro models were priced around 10% off their brand-new counterparts, but are now about 15% below the new.

For example, the entry-level 14-inch model, which normally costs $1,999, was originally available refurbished for $1,799, but this week the price has dropped to $1,709. Similarly, the standard configuration of the high-end 16-inch MacBook Pro It costs $3499 new and was originally offered refurbished for $3149, but is now down to $2989.

Refurbished old models MacBook Pro It’s even lower, like the 2019 16-inch Core i7 2.6GHz model, which was previously $1,949, a 15% discount off the $2,299 starting price for a brand new device. As of this week, this refurbished model is now on sale for $1,749, about 25% off its original price.

It’s worth noting that we often come across significant discounts on brand new devices from Amazon and other retailers, sometimes exceeding the savings you can get by buying refurbished from Apple. However, refurbished devices can be a good money-saving option for those who need to buy when one of these sales are not going and want the convenience of buying directly from Apple.

All Apple refurbished Macs come with all accessories and the same one-year warranty as brand-new products. Every refurbished Apple device goes through a thorough testing, repair, cleaning and repackaging process. Standard one-year warranties can be extended with AppleCare+, making refurbished Apple products virtually indistinguishable from new ones.
