YouTube spokesperson Marnie Greenberg said in an email to The Verge: prices will initially be adjusted in the USA, Canada, UK, Japan, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey and Argentina.. No announcement has been made about other countries yet.
We do not make these decisions easily and we understand how difficult it can be for our users. This new price reflects the full value of YouTube Premium and will allow us to develop even more premium features and continue to support the creators and artists our users watch and listen to on YouTube.

However, if users received the lower price as former Google Play Music subscribers, they will continue to pay the lower price until the April billing date.
The cost of the individual YouTube Premium plan has not changed and according to Greenberg, YouTube has no plans to upgrade it yet. If such intentions arise, the company will notify the price change at least 30 days in advance.
Currently YouTube Premium page in Ukraine shows old price – 149 hryvnia monthly usage. However, we can probably expect growth in the future as well. Time will tell if this is so.
