For the first time, the Ukrainian delegation presented a pavilion at the TechCrunch Disrupt (USA) technology conference and introduced 10 domestic startups there.

According to the press service, the Ukrainian pavilion is a joint venture of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, organized with the support of the USAID Program “Competitive Economy of Ukraine” and the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco. .

The main organizer is Bridge of Ukraine, co-organizer is the Enterprise Fund of Ukraine.

“It is extremely important to represent Ukraine’s startup ecosystem at one of the key technical events, especially in wartime. Our task is to show that despite all the difficulties, the Ukrainian technical scene remains stable, efficient and investment potential. TechCrunch Disrupt 2022 took place October 18-20 in San Francisco. Up to 10,000 participants from 125 countries attend the event each year.

Ukraine pavilion offers start-ups from MedTech, transportation optimization (including humanitarian aid to Ukraine), meta-universe. Well:

elKYC — a service that allows businesses to quickly verify and fulfill their customers online; Nanite Robotics – a set for assembling and programming robots with an innovative approach to creatively teaching children engineering skills; QAI — A platform for testing ML-based games; Harmix — an AI-based service that automatically selects the right music for the video; Cardio — portable medical technology for online heart monitoring; Famine – the international market of humanitarian supplies for Ukraine; how nice — a service that helps you get full personal online advice from various experts 24/7; ADHD number — an ADHD-friendly program that assists tasks through gamification, group support, accountability, and micro-coaching for new coping skills; zeeon — meta-universe for online communication and collaboration; vanongo — an AI-based logistics platform (currently helping deliver humanitarian aid in Ukraine).

“According to our preliminary estimates, the investment potential of the innovation and technology industry is around $11 billion. During the war, the IT sector in particular suffered the smallest losses: it held 95% of contract volumes and significantly increased export revenues.” During the opening of the pavilion, Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksandr Hryban said.

The organizers of the pavilion, in addition to the promotion of their startups, held a closed meeting with venture investors and Ukrainian startups Ukraine Technology Night. At the meeting, representatives of Ukraine’s state bodies, founders of startups and representatives of venture capital talked about building the technological ecosystem of the future in Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Digital Transformation expects to increase the IT sector’s share of Ukraine’s GDP to 10%.
