ViewSonic, a multinational visual solutions company, introduced this week ColorPro VP16-OLED. The 15.6-inch portable monitor features Full HD 1080p native resolution and OLED technology. Pantone approvedThe ColorPro VP16-OLED delivers color uniformity, accuracy and enhanced detail to meet the demands of professional content creators.

The portable OLED monitor is designed with a main board on a stand, which allows the ColorPro VP16-OLED to have one of the thinnest CNC aluminum frame OLED panels compared to a traditional portable monitor. The stand also features a foldable and flexible height-adjustable format so that the user can position the monitor at the desired angle.

According to Jeff Muto, business director of ViewSonic, the monitor was designed to be portable and flexiblel. “Its unique support format folds up in a simplified and easy way, allowing users to carry it with them wherever they go. The distinctive canvas cover can also be used as a “shadow cover”. This integrated format creates a kind of “dark room” setting when used in an environment with very bright lighting, or even in an environment where lighting can affect the image on the screen. With the ColorPro VP Series, we’ve made sure this portable monitor meets the color needs of its creators.”

• Its connectivity options include: 2 USB Type-C inputs for bi-directional charging, mini HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack;
• OLED panel with adjustable stand, built-in lid and accessories;
• 14 inches long and less than an inch thick; 2.2 lbs 2.2 lbs;
• 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Pantone validated and factory set for high quality color work;

The monitor also has a tripod built into the base so that the user can use the screen to view videos or photos. Still ViewSonic did not reveal the price of the device and when it will be on the market.
