“Our eleventh grader, Yury Tumyr, a science and mathematics high school student, has developed a minesweeper reconnaissance aircraft. He says that at first the idea to make a mine-seeking machine arose. Then I decided, by trial and error, to make a quadcopter using 3D printing technology,” Martsinkiv said.
According to the information he received, the minesweeper drone, IV, which took place online this year. Introduced at All-Ukrainian STEAM-FEST.
The inventor allows the drone to search for mines and mark them on the map of the future mobile application.
“So, in the application, the drone flies along a predetermined route, does an area survey marking the coordinates where the mines are located. There is also a system for recognizing the size and type of mine. So the digger opens its application and sees where the mines are, what it is and works on mine clearance” says Tumyr.
Overall, more than a hundred different projects were registered for the week-long festival in Ivano-Frankivsk.
