But as I say, this is an exception, within what is already starting to appear to be a trend, which leads us to take a closer look at the rest of the Cupertino catalog.

As we told you last week, the company used the surprise launch of the new iPad and iPad Pro to raise the price of the iPad Mini not less than 18%, an increase to which we have to add the increase that it already experienced last year, with the introduction of the current generation compared to the previous one. So, over a year from now, one of these iPads costs 45% more than a year ago.

And as I said that’s not the only price increaseAnd as we can see on the company’s website, Apple has made some of its digital subscriptions more expensive. Let’s look at previous and current prices:

As you can see, the biggest increase, by far, is for Apple TV+ subscriptions, a video-on-demand service that is gradually growing in content volume. However, if we are honest, today it is the most limited catalog, which we can attribute to the fact that it is mainly based on self-production, and therefore exclusive. But even so, the monthly fee of 6.99 euros seems excessive to me today for the content of the service. I will not say about the quality, because it has a very interesting production,

Next we see it recording on Apple Music and Apple One, a package that combines all services in various forms, grew by 10% to 15%. In the case of the Apple One, the biggest increase is the family tariff, which goes from 19.95 to 22.95 euros, which represents 15%.

For its part, a streaming music service sees two of its four modalities rise in price. The latest, launched this year, Apple Music Voice, which allows access to the music catalog only through Siri, remains at 4.99 euros per month, and the price of the special tariff for students will not increase, similar to the individual plan, but with a price of 6.99 euros . However, if they rise, the individual subscription, which ranges from 9.99 to 10.99 euros per month, and the family plan, which will increase from 14.99 to 16.99 euros.

There are no price increases for the other services, at least for now, although we’ll be keeping an eye on them to see if they do as well.
