Ericsson and Turkcell Collaboration to Contribute to Digital Transformation

Ericsson and Turkcell have signed a partnership that will accelerate the digital transformation of industrial organizations under the “Ericsson Private Network” solution.

Ericsson and Turkcell, “Ericsson private network” As part of its solution, it has signed an important collaboration agreement that will contribute to the digital transformation of many sectors. Ericsson will support Turkcell in identifying and implementing potential use cases that their industries may require through its “Private Grid” solution, which is fully isolated and can be installed in the industry.

This agreement forms the basis of the mutual cooperation between Turkcell and Ericsson to research, identify and develop the use areas of the Private Grid solution in various sectors such as smart manufacturing, oil and refinery, port operations, airports, energy and distribution and mining in Turkey. The use cases of the solution range from asset monitoring to real-time automation to improve production, optimizing operations with digital twins and data-driven vision, from field inspections that increase worker safety to developing remote-controlled robots, from augmented reality applications that enhance employee capabilities to utilize various digital technologies.

As part of the partnership, Ericsson Private Grid Solution was commissioned at Turkcell’s office last February and a successful trial was conducted.
