Silent Hunter laser air defense systems are produced in the People’s Republic of China. Lasers are effective against reconnaissance UAVs and barrage munitions.

Poly Technologies’ Silent Hunter laser system is mounted in a container carrying a 6×6 wheel truck. The laser complex also houses the Chinese 3D TWA radar station.

This is an enhanced version of the 30 kilowatt low altitude laser defense system available in both fixed and mobile versions.

The Silent Hunter complex uses an electrically powered fiber optic laser.

The advantages of the Silent Hunter laser system include low cost: the cost of a single shot is less than a dollar – this is mainly the price of electricity consumed. In addition, the lack of ammunition eliminates logistics problems.
