I turned off the computer and after examining it, I realized that the power adapter was damaged”NoDuels Policy specified.
A few other players have reported similar cases of meltdown in the 16-pin power connector area.
Nvidia launched an investigation, in which Asus and Gigabyte also participated. For now, owners of flagship GeForce RTX 4090 video cards are advised not to twist the cable to connect additional power at a distance of less than 35 mm from the socket.
