Nex Computer announced this Wednesday (26) the release of the NexPad, a Full HD portable monitor priced at $249. The monitor has a magnetic bottom and the ability to connect to laptops and turn on the second screen. NexPad also Compatible with some Android smartphones from manufacturers Samsung, Motorola and Huawei.

Features of NexPad 12″ Full HD IPS touch display, with slim bezel, USB-C connector and back support for magnetic connection. The difference of the device is that it connects to the top of the laptop through the magnetic part.

According to the manufacturer, the goal is to improve posture, avoid neck pain, and increase productivity and comfort. Nex Computer CEO Emre Kosmaz points out that professionals in any industry can take advantage of the extra screen real estate without sacrificing usable side space. “We’re launching NextPad to enable today’s professionals to be more productive than ever in an increasingly dynamic work environment.”

NexPad is compatible with Android smartphones

NexPad is compatible with select Android smartphones from Samsung, Motorola and Huawei. Simply connect your smartphone to the device via the USB-C input to use it as a second screen.
