Xiaomi has released a giant Redmi X86 TV with a 4K screen and a metal body. The new Redmi Smart TV X86 has an 86-inch screen that displays 4K content. It supports MEMC motion compensation, 1 billion colors and 97% screen-to-body ratio. The dimensions of the TV are 1.9 by 1.2 meters.

Redmi Smart TV X86 supports USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi. There are two HDMI 2.0 interfaces and the others (USB 3.0 and 2.0) are one. Redmi’s big smart TV provides high quality sound. The TV is equipped with two 10 W speakers and has a metal casing. It has built-in XiaoAI far-field voice control for uninterrupted entertainment.

Xiaomi Redmi X86 Giant Screen TV is powered by A55 quad core processor with 2/16GB memory/storage configuration. The Redmi X86 is available for pre-sale in China at a starting price of 4,999 yuan (~$692). The original price of Redmi X86 is 5,299 yuan (~$733) and will return to this price after the pre-sale period. There is currently no information on the global availability of TV.
