The tablet, which is a version of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with educational and entertainment apps for kids and parental controls, will be available in the US starting November 4th.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Kids Edition has the same features as the regular Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with a reinforced protective case, swivel base and handle for easy use by children. This includes an 8.7″ TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 or WXGA+, a MediaTek Helio P22T octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot up to 1TB, and a 5100mAh battery.
The tablet has a 2-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of recording HD (720p) and Full HD (1080p) video at 30 frames per second. In terms of connectivity options, the tablet supports 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Because the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Kids Edition is designed for kids, it comes preloaded with the Samsung Kids app, which provides them with a safe environment to explore age-appropriate content.
