Apple dropped support for popular devices

Beginning at the end of November, Apple will end support for three iMac models that have made it to the official list of legacy devices. This was reported by MacRumors.

According to journalists, Apple will no longer consider two versions of the iMac 2013 with screen sizes of 21.5 and 27 inches. The iMac 2014 with a 27-inch Retina 5K display will also be included in the list of legacy devices.

Apple will restore the list of old iMacs on November 30. When this happens, Apple’s official service centers will not accept the listed models for service or repair.

In the comments below the note on the MacRumors website, users wrote a series of lamentable and laudatory messages on the occasion of the aging of 2013 and 2014 iMacs. For example, user Miha_v wrote that the nine-year-old models still look very stylish and modern. A few more users expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Apple is basically gradually “killing” the most successful line of iMacs.
