Updated DxOMark’s ranking of the best camera phones: Huawei Mate 50 Pro is now the leader. He scored a record number of points.

The Huawei Mate 50 Pro camera system is as follows: the main 50 MP module with optical image stabilization (OIS) and variable aperture f/1.4 – f/4.0; ultra-wide 13 MP and f/2.2 aperture; 64 MP telephoto with f/3.5 aperture and OIS.

The total score of the smartphone was 149. For comparison: Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has 146 points. The Huawei Mate 50 Pro scored 152 for photo quality alone.

Among the advantages of the smartphone camera were mentioned: a wide dynamic range for both photos and videos, a high level of image detail, a pleasant Bokeh effect, fast and accurate autofocus for photos and videos. Of the minuses, minor distortions in the white balance, the difference between the preview and the shooting result, sometimes complex scenes are shot in slow motion, the difference in sharpness between frames can be seen in the video.
