This was stated by the CEO of the Ukrainian company Ihor Smilyanskyi during the briefing “Ukrposhta’s work in the occupied territories and in conditions of power outages” organized by the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Ukrposhta does not plan to stop working in conditions where there is no electricity or communication. We have developed all the procedures that allow us to work. For example, we buy generators and also install Starlink at base points. Thanks to this, we can continue to provide basic services, especially to the population,” he said.

Smilyansky explained that Ukrposhta can provide services such as paying electricity bills, issuing pensions and social payments, processing all types of shipments and selling essential goods.

“We will continue to work. If Ukrposhta can serve the regions liberated from the invaders, the company will be able to do so in other regions of Ukraine,” he said.

As reported, JSC “Ukrposhta” resumed the work of more than 48 branches in the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions. More than 100 settlements are served.
