Elon Musk’s American company SpaceX launched Eutelsat’s Hotbird 13G communications satellite into space.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Space.com.

It was noted that the Falcon 9 launch vehicle was launched from the Florida spaceport on Thursday, November 3, at 08:22 Kyiv time.

Eutelsat’s Hotbird 13G satellite was placed in geopass orbit (35,900 kilometers above our planet) just 36 minutes after launch.

The Hotbird 13G was manufactured by Airbus Defense and Space and will be operated by the French telecommunications company Eutelsat.

The Hotbird 13G communications satellite will join the “twin” Hotbird 13F, which launched last month with Falcon 9.

Thus, the two new spacecraft will now replace the three existing Hotbird satellites.

As Ukrinform reported, on Tuesday, November 1, the American company SpaceX launched the Falcon Heavy super-heavy rocket with a stealth device for the needs of the US Space Force as part of the USSF-44 mission.
