The President’s wife, Olena Zelenska, has urged global companies in the tech industry to consider creating more powerful power banks for Ukrainians.

As Ukrinform reported, he told this in an interview with the British newspaper The Guardian.

“We are facing an energy crisis in Ukraine after constant attacks on energy infrastructure. This means that Ukrainians are buying generators, power banks, batteries. Maybe it’s time for the world to consider creating power banks with larger capacities. This is interesting and much needed. it could be a start,” Zelenska said.

He also urged social networks not to hide the posts made during the Russo-Ukrainian war so that people learned the truth.

Earlier, the social network Instagram disguised and tagged Zelenska’s post showing the results of the Russian attack that killed a four-year-old Ukrainian girl she knew, as “sensitive content”.

“What we have to do is show the facts, show the photos, unfortunately it shows that these atrocities are happening. But companies that need to spread this truth are trying to hide this content,” he said.

Zelenska also said that Ukraine is grateful to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk for providing Starlink satellite Internet service to the country.

“We have to thank him (Musk – ed.) for Starlink because it’s still working. It’s still working and we hope it will help us win by making our efforts smarter,” he said.

As Ukrinform reported, on November 2, Zelenska opened Europe’s largest technology conference, Web Summit 2022, in Lisbon, calling on IT professionals from all over the world to help Ukraine during this time.

The first lady also said that the time has come to invest in the Ukrainian IT sector.
