This morning, a new OPPO-branded smartphone was spotted on a well-known Chinese certification site. OPPO A98 has received the approval of TENAA.
According to what was revealed by the leaky China Digital Chat Station, the smartphone is codenamed “Hepburn” and could possibly be launched as the OPPO A98, even if not mentioned by the DGC.
The leaker also says that the device will have a 6.7-inch curved display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and an update frequency of 120 Hz. The screen with a hole in the middle will have a narrow 2.33 mm bezel and will support PWM dimming up to 2160 Hz.
The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip on the media front panel, will support 67 W fast charging and will also have a 108 MP main camera.
According to other specifications, the OPPO device is equipped with two stereo speakers, NFC for contactless payment/transit and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
