Black Shark is apparently working on an interesting new product to be created for people with disabilities. The company recently patented a VR (virtual reality)-based product designed to assist the hearing impaired.

Lately ITH Home It has detected the patent of a Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Judging by the official patent disclosure, the company is working on a new type of VR glasses device that includes its own mobile power supply and display. It also looks like the upcoming VR device has quite an interesting feature. This gadget will have a special module for lip reading. In other words, it can detect lip movements and send relevant information to the user of the VR device.

The data will most likely be copied in audio format or perhaps displayed on a VR device screen. Interestingly, we covered a report earlier this year about Tencent’s acquisition of Black Shark. It was said that the first took this step to enter the Metaverse. For those who don’t know, Black Shark is a brand that has been in the gaming industry for a while and has reportedly been developing VR hardware for the metaverse. Meanwhile, Tencent will be responsible for the software content of the company’s new VR product.

Note that this is still a patent. That means we don’t know if the brand is actually working on such a product or if it covers all the bases.
