At a meeting with representatives from the field of information technology, it was reported that the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko discussed the double taxation of Ukrainians temporarily moving to EU countries. The Ministry of Economy noted that this problem can only be solved by reviewing the existing agreements on the avoidance of double taxation that Ukraine has signed with other countries.
“Ukraine is taking measures to collect and provide maximum information to Ukrainians abroad. Especially in which countries and under what conditions there is a real risk of becoming a taxpayer and in which there is no such risk. At the same time, according to the existing agreements, each special double taxation in each country It was emphasized that the case should be evaluated separately.
In addition, the parties will discuss the main issues related to the launch of the project, such as business trips and employee reservations. Svyridenko noted that the Ministry of Economy has finalized the government’s decision on business trips abroad and has already sent the document to the government.
Representatives of the IT field were also informed that in the near future the Verkhovna Rada may consider the second reading of bill 7687, which provides for the expansion of the list of conscripts that can be reserved by enterprises in critical industries.
