American technology company Labrador Systems presented a personal robot to help the elderly in everyday life.
This was reported by The Hill, according to Ukrinform reports.
The Labrador Retriever personal robot looks like a moving trolley with trays. The autonomous device aims to facilitate the daily activities of the elderly by carrying essential items within easy reach.
“Organizations are currently experiencing a severe shortage of caregivers and in the coming years there will be many more people over 85 and fewer people to help them. “Our mission is to make life easier for both parties,” said Mike Dooley, CEO of Labrador Systems.
As Ukrinform reports, a team of engineers from the University of Minnesota in Duluth (USA) has developed a robot designed to help people with dementia.
