Surrounded by a halo of mystery for many years, the Boeing X-37B military unmanned spacecraft remains in orbit and reaches the milestone of 900 days.

The current OTV-6 mission started in May 2020 and is still ongoing. The previous record of 718 days set in 2019 has already been broken, and it is not yet known how long the device will remain in orbit.

There are many rumors about the purpose of the Boeing X-37B. In particular, the mass media often write that this is a device for experiments with orbital weapons. Although the original purpose of the device remains a mystery, some tasks are not secret at all. For example, in this mission, scientists tested the photovoltaic radio frequency antenna module of the US Naval Research Laboratory.
