China has successfully launched a communications satellite that will provide communications services in the Pacific region.
This was reported by Xinhua according to Ukrinform reports.
The message reads, “The Zhongxing-19 satellite was successfully launched from the Xichang Cosmodrome (Sichuan Province, Southwest China) with the help of the Long March-3B launch vehicle. The satellite successfully entered the given orbit.”
As mentioned, the primary purpose of this satellite is to provide communications services for the Pacific waterways, the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean and the west coast of North America.
Xinhua said that this mission is already the 447th for the Changzheng type launch vehicle.
As reported, on October 31, China successfully launched the last module of the Tiangong space station.
