There have been quite a few leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S23 in recent days, even though its launch is still months away. Just yesterday we reviewed Light, a new power consumption profile that will make it possible to extend the autonomy of devices based on a slight reduction in their performance. So far, not much is known about it, i.e. by how much the performance will be reduced, or as a result, how long the life of a fully charged battery will be extended. However, at the expense of having such data, the concept seems interesting.

On the other hand, last Friday we also learned that unlike the previous generations, in which we could find versions with Snapdragon and versions with Exynos, the Galaxy S23 series will be built exclusively on Qualcomm chipsets. A surprise that makes us wonder why reasons that would lead Samsung to abandon its own integrated in the new generation of its top line. However, remember that we are talking about leaks, not official information, so we will have to wait for their confirmation (or denial, of course).

And when will we know? Well, we also told you yesterday, it seems (again according to rumors and leaks) that Samsung is preparing one of its Galaxy Unpacked for the first week of February, which more or less coincide with this year’s S22 performance. If so, we can expect its arrival on the market again between the middle or rather the end of the same month as it happened in 2022.

So while we’re still waiting for an official reveal, we’re also paying close attention to rumors, especially if they come to reinforce information we’ve already heard. This is the case with the information reflected by PhoneArena, which states this along with a screenshot The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a 200-megapixel camera.

As I say, this is not the first time that this rumor has circulated and we can already find other devices with a camera of these characteristics on the market. However, it is noteworthy that the mentioned camera has not yet debuted on Samsung devices, since it is the Korean technology manufacturer of the mentioned sensor, Samsung ISOCELL HPX which we already find in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12. We are talking about a sensor with a pixel size of 0.6 µm and a matrix of 1/1.3″ and able to provide an aperture of f/1.7.
