VODAFONE FORMS ITS “ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, GOVERNANCE” ACTIVITIES WITH ITS STAKEHOLDERS
Vodafone Turkey organized a Stakeholder Workshop to communicate its Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) performance to its stakeholders and get their views on its activities. A stakeholder group of 27 people, comprising non-governmental organisations, public representatives, academics, members of the media, Vodafone employees, suppliers and business partners attended the workshop. The workshop, which conveyed Vodafone’s “Purpose-Oriented Vodafone” approach, which forms Vodafone’s sustainable business strategy, received views from stakeholders in the Digital Society, Inclusiveness and Environment.
Working with the vision to lead the digitization of Turkey Vodafone, continues its communication efforts for the ecosystem of stakeholders. Vodafone, organized to listen to the expectations, needs and priorities of different stakeholders and to build effective long-term relationships with its stakeholders. Stakeholder Workshops added one more.The workshop, which conveyed Vodafone’s focused works and received stakeholder views on its future goals, was attended by non-governmental organisations, public representatives, academics, members of the media, suppliers, business partners and Vodafone employees. 27 people A stakeholder group took part.

Stakeholder feedback will feed into the ESG report
During the Vodafone Turkey Stakeholder Workshop, stakeholder expectations and solution suggestions were discussed for 2 hours under the guidance of 6 moderators. In the workshop, stakeholders developed ideas on topics such as digital transformation, closing the digital divide, women’s employment and participation in the economy, youth employment and youth well-being, combating the climate crisis through environmental impact of individual and corporate customers due to carbon emissions, collection and recycling of electronic waste. While the output of the workshop will provide input for Vodafone’s next Environmental, Social and Governance Report, it will also help Vodafone meet stakeholder expectations throughout the year.
