In March, Apple started selling refurbished iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro smartphones at around 15% discount compared to newer models. Samsung is now offering updated versions of its smartphones from last year. The brand has opened pre-orders for refurbished Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra devices via its Re-Newed online store. The open sale of these devices should begin on April 22. Telecom operators and retailers will start selling these devices on April 28.

These refurbished devices are made new with the use of official spare parts and new batteries. Samsung also offers a one-year warranty for these devices.

The restored Galaxy S21 cost $124, the Galaxy S21+ $149, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra $200 cheaper. The Galaxy S21 is priced at $675 on the Samsung Re-Newed website, while the updated Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra are priced at $850 and $1,000, respectively.

But that’s not all, as pre-ordering any of these three refurbished S21 series devices by April 22 will get customers a $100 discount they can use to shop on Samsung.com.

It will be remembered that Samsung promised four years of software support and five years of security updates for these devices. And this means that the Galaxy S21 line, released in 2021, has the right to update Android 14 and 15. They will also receive security updates until 2026. Source
