Newskill has just announced the launch of a new range of computer tables: Newskill Belenor and Belenor PRO. The first of these is the “off-road” model, which is equally suitable for playing or studying and excels at a price that is also suitable for all viewers, under the barrier of 150 euroswhile the other goes a notch higher by offering height adjustment via an electric motor.

The Spanish manufacturer specializing in peripherals and accessories is adding products to its catalog week after week. In your section gaming tables, he already had the Anhur line, Fenrir and the top line Tanaris at his disposal. Now it adds another line to this product group, which – like the chair – has gained interest among consumers who desire achieve a dedicated, attractive, comfortable and functional work space.

We had the opportunity to test the basic model before it was launched on the market, and here we will share our impressions with you. As a preview, we can already tell you that those who strive to square the circle will like it: good, nice and cheap.

Newskill Belenor, feature

The aim of this table is to offer a value proposition with the best specifications to be found in its price range. This is how we see it intended for those users who approach the purchase of this type of peripheral for the first time.

Desks have always existed, but were generally reserved for more professional studios or offices. With the COVID pandemic and the massive return to homes to control the pandemic, we have seen its great utility compared to placing a laptop on tables in non-specialized living rooms or kitchens, or using additional furniture installed in typical student bedrooms, which, let’s be honest, leave a lot to be desired. in terms of size and comfort of use.

There’s nothing better than a dedicated table, specially designed to serve as a base for a computer workstation, gaming or studying with appropriate comfort. We will look at this in detail later, but the essentials are fulfilled by this Belenor at a very good level, thanks to the large dimensions without being flashy, the reinforced metal construction, the carbon surface and other details for the cable management and the case of other accessories.

We leave you with its main specifications so you can see at a glance what it has to offer:

Riding the Newskill Belenor

The carrier will arrive at your address rather tired. It is a good size and weight table, but its elements are perfectly placed to reduce the volume of the package while protecting it during transport. It can be easily assembled by one personbut when someone lends a hand more than better.

We are looking for a free place with space so that we can work comfortably and we take out all the components. In addition to the necessary screws and a small Allen key, which is the only tool we will need, the manufacturer includes a paper assembly manual with the steps to follow.

We put the board on the floor to screw two Z-shaped legs and two small crossbars, which in the shape of a square will act as reinforcements, to its lower part. We will place four round accessories finished in polycarbonate, which will be the ones that will be in contact with the ground to avoid damage and add stability.

We only need to mount the additional elements, the cable management base, the headphone holder and more for drinks. Like the top and frame, they have matching holes and threads to prevent mistakes as it’s just a matter of tightening the screws with the built-in wrench. In fact, it is more difficult to describe than to carry out the assembly process in which it took us a little over 10 minutes. We put the table in its final place and enjoy it.

Design

The table is very well designed with user comfort in mind. Attractive to look at, it won’t bump anywhere you put it. It looks and feels sturdy with those Z-shaped legs made of 2 mm reinforced metal, which together with the reinforcing brackets create a structure capable of holding weight up to 200 kg. The buyer will have the table for many years.

Another main element is the worktop. Its dimensions 120×600 They are ideal for the average user. Plenty of space to accommodate peripherals, but not as big as other 140, 160mm (or more) models, so it may be difficult to find a suitable location in already occupied houses. The height of the table is 75 cma standardized value for use with a computer and less important than in an office chair, where the ergonomic part is usually better controlled.

The top is made of textured melamine sa carbon pattern which reinforces the finish quality and game aesthetics, although as we mentioned above, it can be used by both workers and students. As one of the few things we didn’t like about this desk, the tabletop of the model we tested is a magnet for fingerprints, and they accumulate with little use. Nothing that regular cleaning can’t fix and which will certainly be less noticeable on a model with a white finish.

Any self-respecting base must have a design that facilitates cable routing. The Newskill Belenor is equipped with a metal bracket that attaches to the bottom of the dashboard and accommodates the extension cord and cables. The table top also has two pre-drilled holes on its surface to run cables down to the stand (or PC) to keep your desk as clean and tidy as possible.

As additional accessories, the table includes two metal accessories, which are attached to the dashboard to perform the functions of supporting headphones and soft drinks or coffee cups. They always come in handy, although if you don’t need them you can remove them so they don’t stick out from the board.

User experience, conclusions and price

Good product considering the price range under the barrier of 150 euros. It effortlessly assembles in just over 10 minutes and is visually appealing enough to be placed almost anywhere. We liked the design of the structure with those Z-shaped legs. They are sturdy at the base and are well reinforced with brackets, finished with plastic-coated spikes, so as not to damage floors such as wooden floors and prevent unwanted movements.

The board is a good size without being huge. If you use it for a desktop PC, you will have enough space to place a monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Of course, there is no place for a tower due to the large dimensions of the monitor. In any case, when we are not using a mini-PC or AIO, it is always preferable to have the tower on the ground. If you use a table to work/play with a laptop instead of a desktop computer, you will have more than enough space for everything, expansion bases and monitors as additional display surfaces.

The 75 cm from the ground to the top is adequate, considering that the Belenor does not have a height adjustment. This feature is interesting, but it is reserved for higher level tables and prices where you will also find engines and even memories to save the position of different profiles/users. It also has no lighting. If you’re looking for all these extra features, Newskill has top models that have it all. The one we like the most from Newskill is the Tanaris RGB PRO, with RGB backlighting and height adjustable with a hydraulic motor.

Summary. Newskill Belenor is a valuable proposition for users looking for their first dedicated table or for those looking to buy and economic model of guarantees in your market segment. Like all peripherals of this manufacturer, it is focused playing gamesbut it can be used just like work or education.

Newskill Belenor is now available on its web portal for €149.95 and two versions to choose from according to their color design, in white or black. If you want a good foundation to achieve a dedicated, comfortable, functional and economical workspace, here is one of the best you can find in your price range.

And if you want something elsewith the same size (120 x 60 cm) but with an electric motor for height adjustment and memory storage of three different usage profiles, you can opt for the Belenor PRO with an official price of 349.95 euros.
