As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov wrote about it in Telegram.

“A further 1,570 Starlinks from Poland are in Ukraine. This is especially important right now, because we have electricity problems due to the Russian bombardment. Mobile operators and internet providers are not working in some areas when the lights go out. Therefore, public WI-FI points in the country where people can stay connected. We will provide,” he said.

According to him, part of the terminals will be transferred to civilian administrations in the occupied territories. Also, Starlink of Ukrzaliznytsia will be provided so that passengers and employees have stable mobile communication and internet.

He recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale occupation, with the help of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Ukraine has received more than 20,000 Starlink terminals from donors and partners, 5,000 of them with the support of the Polish government.

Fedorov thanked the Polish government for its continued support and the ZAMMLER group of logistics companies for the free delivery of a new batch of terminals to Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, medical institutions in Ukraine received more than 400 Starlink devices to work with the electronic health system and provide access to the Internet.
