Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has made public the details and technical specifications of the Ukrainian attack drone used in the Sevastopol attack. Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on his social networks.

According to the minister, Ukraine plans to create a full fleet of attack seaplanes to protect the Ukrainian maritime waters of the Black Sea and ensure the activity of merchant ships there.

Multipurpose unmanned surface vehicles are a unique Ukrainian development. Our first task is to create a fleet of hundreds of boats of this type. It will be able to protect the water areas of our seas, prevent missile ships from leaving the gulf, protect merchant ships and perform covert missions.said Fedorov.

Boats can participate in long-range maritime reconnaissance, surveillance of coastal activities, escort and support of the conventional fleet, convoy of merchant ships, adjustment of artillery fire, and inflicting fire damage on moving and fixed targets.

MAIN TACTICAL AND TECHNICAL FEATURES

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has revealed some technical specifications of the new Ukrainian shock sea anti-aircraft missile system:

  • Length – 5.5 m
  • Full weight – up to 1000 kg
  • Working range up to 400 km
  • Range up to 800 km
  • Autonomy – up to 60 hours
  • Combat load – up to 200 kg
  • The maximum speed is 80 km/h.
  • Navigation paths — automatic GNSS, inertial, visual
  • Transmission of video information — up to three HD video streams
  • Crypto protection encryption — 256 bit

In addition to the drone itself, equipped with video subsystems, including an autopilot system, night vision, backup communication modules and a combat unit, it includes a land autonomous control station, a transport and storage system and a data processing center.
