Ukrainian television broadcasts resumed yesterday in Kherson. Currently, one of the Ukrainian channels broadcasting a single news marathon is presented to residents of liberated Kherson and surrounding settlements on channel 31 in T2 digital format. Thus, our compatriots in the Kherson region can receive fast and reliable information about the course of military operations and the situation in the country.
This has been possible thanks to new powerful transmitters supplied by our Polish colleagues, Emitel SA Company, to the Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television Concern. A few days before the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson region, the Concern specialists installed a 4 kW transmitter near the existing border line in the Mykolaiv region.
To watch Ukrainian television, residents of the Kherson region must search for T2 format channels on their television and point the antenna towards the Mykolaiv region. If you cannot find a channel, you should turn the antenna slightly to the left or right or raise it higher.
The concern also reported that residents of the Kherson region are also able to listen to the first channel of Ukrainian radio at a frequency of 92.0 MHz in the FM range. The signal strength is sufficient to receive signals even in some currently occupied areas of the Kherson region.
“Now we broadcast only one channel of Ukrainian television and radio, because the primary task for us was to ensure that Ukrainians have access to information as quickly as possible. We thank our Polish partners for the equipment that made it possible to return Ukrainian television and radio broadcasts to the liberated areas,” he said. Source
