On Sunday, the crew of China’s Shenzhou-14 spacecraft boarded the Tianzhou-5 cargo ship, which launched into orbit on Nov.
This was reported by Xinhua according to Ukrinform reports.
“Astronauts opened the Tianzhou-5 hatch at 14:18 Beijing time and entered the Tianzhou-5 cargo spacecraft at 15:03,” the statement citing the China Manned Space Program Office (CMSA) said.
It was noted that Shenzhou-14 crew members will “carry cargo and perform other related work” as planned.
China reportedly launched the Tianzhou-5 cargo spacecraft on Saturday morning to deliver cargo to the Tiangong space station, which is expected to be completed this year.
