In Argentina Volt Motors created an electric car with an interesting concept: a car that will serve electronic taxidesigned primarily for passenger traffic. And the best: sustainable and low maintenance. The product will be launched in the first half of next year and will have two variations: for one or three passengers. So far, the company has presented body options in a pre-production scheme. The mass production phase has not started yet.

To equip these compact machines, two 19 hp electric motors will be used, and the battery will be lithium-ion. In standard sockets, a full charge cycle takes up to 8 ocloc’k🇧🇷 however the driver can reach 80% of max level in just half an hour if you use the ultra-fast station. Another important aspect is autonomy, which, according to the manufacturer, will 200 km.

The Volt electric car will cost approximately 145,000 reais.

Designed with Argentinian realities in mind, this vehicle is ideal for from 3 to 7 km. The functionality of the electronic taxi will be optimized for travel on these routes. As for the price, it will be sold for 4.5 million Argentine pesos (~ 145 thousand reais in free conversion). Low maintenance is expected in this product as the automaker promised this feature.

In urban centers, theoretically, this model will be able to drive 100 km for 250 Argentine pesos, which is close to 8 reais. And last but not least: Max Speed🇧🇷 The Volt is expected to reach 105 km/hmore than enough for the functions conceived by the creators🇧🇷
