According to Amazon in a blog post, the new machine is aimed at reduce the number of repetitive tasks what your human workers should do.

According to the company, technological advances Sparrow will not replace your employees, but will help them.as the robot will perform repetitive tasks, allowing Amazon employees to focus their time and energy on other services.

The Amazon publication also highlights an apprenticeship program that aims to train workers to maintain robotic systems in warehouses. To this end, projects and the introduction of robotics and technology into operations have already created more than 700 new job categories.
