After introducing its powerful chipset Size 9200 for smartphones MediaTech announced the release of new chips for various types of products. A total of four new models have been unveiled, the most important of which is a 5G modem chip that can support download speeds up to 7.9 Gbps and is based on a 4nm process that is highly energy efficient.
Show of strength takes place days before G20 meeting
With support for sub-6 GHz and mmWave operation in both SA and NSA networks, MediaTek T800 is the company’s new 5G modem, built with power and power consumption in mind. With an architecture that complies with the 4GPP Release-16 specification for 5G and 4CC, the new chip is manufactured using a 4nm process that promises to be extremely efficient.
The manufacturer indicates that his new modem is capable of reaching download speed up to 7.9 Gb/s and upload 4.2 Gb/s🇧🇷 The new chip can be equipped with PCIe interfaces, USB host and other features that will depend on the needs of the customer.

Both models have the same eight core designWith two Cortex-A76 cores for heavy tasks and six Cortex-A55 cores for lighter tasks, supports up to 3733Mbps LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 storage.
The big difference between the models is their frequency, with the cores Т528 have a slightly higher speed than T520🇧🇷 Inside they have a Mali-G52 MC2 2EE graphics chip, video decoding in VP9 and H.265 formats and support for cameras up to 32 MP. The first Google-powered laptops with the new Kompanio chips are expected to be released in early 2023.

OUR MediaTech also took the opportunity to show the new chipset Pentonic 1000, which will power smart TVs at 4k resolution and up to 120Hz. This new chip has been designed for gaming devices, allowing low latency automatic modes and support for Wi-Fi 6/6E, which will work well on game streaming services.
This model will support HEVC, VP9, AVS3 and AV1 decoder and will one of the first to support H.266🇧🇷 Chip has to offerr Dolby Atmos as well as dolby vision and the first TVs with the new product should be presented in the first quarter of next year.
