The company has registered a patent for the design of the original gadget with a display without cutouts and holes. In addition to the design with a retractable mechanism, it is interesting with an unusual approach to the implementation of the screen itself, part of which is supposed to be made transparent.

The document, revealed on the WIPO website, describes the design of a smartphone in a slider form factor, the retractable screen of which, judging by the text, will have a transparent area. Considering that one of the accompanying images shows taking a selfie with the main camera of the gadget, this section of the screen can display an image from both sides.

The patent sketches also show a rear camera unit with five elements (probably four sensors and a flash). The front camera module is missing in the pictures. In addition, the company has patented an alternative design of the side slider, but did not specify whether it will have a transparent insert in its screen.

Judging by the image, the device will resemble a standard monoblock, and when using a sliding mechanism, the aspect ratio of its display will be close to the Galaxy Z Fold. Specifications, possible announcement date and other details of the patented devices are still unknown.
