The launch vehicle lifted five Jilin-1 Gaofen 03D commercial satellites into their planned orbit, taking off from Jiuquan Cosmodrome in northwest China at 2:20 PM Beijing time.
Payloads delivered by the CERES-1 Y4 launch vehicle will be used to provide commercial remote sensing services.
CERES-1, developed by the Galactic Energy rocket company, is a compact solid-fuel launch vehicle capable of launching microsatellites into low Earth orbit.
For carrier rockets of the “CERES-1” series, this flight was the fourth in a row.
